Ingredients

Raspberry chocolate martini ingredients.
  • Chocolate Liqueur: I used Milk Chocolate Godiva Liqueur. This liqueur will give a martini a rich and creamy chocolate flavor.
  • Vodka: For this recipe, I used Absolut Raspberry vodka. It has a refreshing and divine raspberry flavor.
  • Crème de Cacao: I used DeKuyper Dark Crème de Cacao. It’s one of my favorite chocolate liqueurs.
  • Half-and-half: For added creaminess, I used half-and-half.

See recipe card for quantities.

Expert Tips and Tricks

  • Chill the martini glasses: Before I pour the drink, I always chill the glass in the freezer. This will keep the drink cold longer.
  • Use crushed ice: I like to use crushed ice to make it extra foamy.
  • Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously: This step is crucial. Shaking the cocktail shaker vigorously will ensure that all ingredients are incorporated, and you will have the beautiful foam once you pour the drink.

Substitutions and Variations

  • Make Raspberry White Chocolate Martini: Use White Godiva Chocolate Liqueur instead of the Milk Chocolate Godiva Liqueur.
  • Make Raspberry Espresso Martini: Use Baileys Espresso instead of the Milk Chocolate Godiva Liqueur.
  • Use different garnishes: I kept it simple and added a few chocolate pieces and a few raspberries on the cocktail pick. You can rim the glass with melted chocolate or any chocolate syrup you prefer. You can also drizzle a little bit of chocolate syrup into a chilled glass before pouring the drink.

FAQ

How do you grate chocolate?

Take a chocolate bar and grate it using a box grater. You can grate the more prominent pieces or more delicate pieces.

Can I double the recipe?

Yes, absolutely! Use a large cocktail shaker since this martini has many ingredients. Then, split evenly when pouring into a martini glass.

Holy Moly! This is delicious! I muddled 3 raspberries and used plain vodka. Also used Bogata chocolate Liquour. This is my new favorite!
