Expert Tips and Tricks
- Chill the glass: I always chill the glasses in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to keep the cocktail cold longer.
- Chill the espresso: To avoid adding hot espresso and melting the ice, chill the espresso briefly for a minute or two.
- Shake vigorously: This step is crucial to ensure the ingredients will be chilled and incorporated, and you will have a beautiful foam on top once you pour the drink.
- Use a mason jar: If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, use a mason jar.
- Double strain the martini: Since we are using pumpkin pie spices and pumpkin pure, there will be added texture to this martini. I recommend double-straining the espresso when pouring to avoid too many crumbs.
