This Radish Green Salad is a refreshing blend of crisp radishes, mixed greens, and green onions. It is simply dressed with olive oil, salt, and pepper to highlight the fresh, natural flavors in every bite.
1drizzlelight olive oil(just enough to coat everything)
salt(per taste)
pepper(per taste)
Instructions
Wash and prepare the green onions by trimming the roots and removing a small portion from the tops of the leaves. Slice them thinly, place them in a small bowl, season with salt and pepper, and set aside to rest.
Wash the mixed greens thoroughly and remove excess water using a salad spinner to ensure they stay crisp.
Wash and slice the radishes using a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer to create even, uniform slices. A mandoline slicer speeds up prep time and creates a consistent texture.
Assemble the salad by adding the mixed greens and sliced radishes to a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, just enough to lightly coat everything. Season with salt and pepper, then toss gently to combine.
Incorporate the green onions by adding them to the bowl and mixing everything once more for even distribution.
Serve immediately in individual portions. Taste and adjust salt if needed. Enjoy!
Notes
Slice Radishes Thinly: Use a sharp knife or mandoline slicer to achieve ultra-thin, even slices. This ensures a delicate crunch and even distribution of flavor throughout the salad.
Dry the Greens Thoroughly: After washing the mixed greens, pat it completely dry or use a salad spinner. Dry greens help the dressing adhere better and prevent the salad from becoming watery.
Season Gradually: Start with a small amount of salt, pepper, and olive oil, then adjust to taste. This allows you to achieve the perfect balance without overpowering the fresh flavors.
